THE CHALLENGE
WEEK 2 - DAY 8 - INSPIRATION
Jimmy Valvano is known for this one: "Don't give up, don't ever give up."
This one is from Bethany Hamilton: "Courage, sacrifice, determination, commitment, toughness, heart, talent, guts. That’s what little girls are made of; the heck with sugar and spice."
Jesse Owens spoke of this: “The battles that count aren't the ones for gold medals. The struggles within yourself -- the invisible, inevitable battles inside all of us -- that's where it's at.”
They all recognized that the will is a significant percentage of the equation in succeeding. Once you can fully understand this, I mean fully, you really have something.
But as anyone can also guess...

...preparation is also in a wise man's arsenal. You are preparing yourself, not for some physical endeavor or extreme challenge.
Your mind is being conditioned more than you think it is. Take advantage of it. It will help you in so many other areas of your life. And you will be tested, again and again. There are so many other famous and not-so-famous people that are really no different than you in the aspect of living their lives the best way they know how.
Remember this when you are faced with a challenge you feel there is no way it can't be handled. In those times, for me, I choose to remember this verse from the bible, Phillipians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me".
Keep Movin', Keep Improvin'

Your mind is being conditioned more than you think it is. Take advantage of it. It will help you in so many other areas of your life. And you will be tested, again and again. There are so many other famous and not-so-famous people that are really no different than you in the aspect of living their lives the best way they know how.
